Space Dimensions
Standard accessible spaces: 8' wide. Van-accessible spaces: 11' wide. All require 5' access aisles.
Number Required
Based on total parking: 1-25 spaces = 1 accessible, 26-50 = 2, 51-75 = 3, continuing up based on lot size.
Van-Accessible
1 in every 6 accessible spaces (minimum 1) must be van-accessible with 8' loading aisle.
Slope Limits
Maximum 2% slope in any direction for accessible spaces and access aisles.
Signage Height
Signs mounted minimum 60" to bottom of sign. Van spaces require "Van Accessible" designation.
Location
Accessible spaces must be closest to accessible building entrance with compliant route.
